i have talk to people i know about this and they said its a alot of coding that would slow the Ascalon area down and slow down the overall experience for new players to try pvp. also the weapon one is really a bad as
1: You can find them around Ascalon and Yaks (Incuding the chests)
2: You can buy them all in Ascalon so it has nothing to do with being Ran
3: Why just Gold and Greens?, Some Purples are far better then golds
4: Also People will get collectors 20/20 staffs that are blue
5: Due to an update once you unlock a skill you can buy from any skill trainer ( Yay for my lvl1 ele with Obsidian Flame )
6: Going back to 3, you can get a 15^50 IDS with +30 Health and that can be only blue
7: I have so many more season, but i think(hope) you see my point

Altohugh i do agree, it simply cant be done.
AND TO ALL THEM PEOPLE WHO THINKS SCARING NEW PEOPLE AWAY FOR PVP IS FUN, WHY DONT YOU GET YOUR ASSES TO HOH. I KNOW WHY DONT, BECAUSE YOU WOULD GET OWN. SO YOU HAVE TO FIGHT NEW PEOPLE (WHO MOST OF DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE REALLY DOING) TO MAKE YOU ASS HOLE FEEL LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING

Ascalon arenas don't need fixing. Elites are not significantly better than normal skills to make a difference (except healing light. OMG arenanet, OMG what were you smoking? 88+ heal for 2 energy? Even without the energy back, it's better than word.)
As for armor, if you seriously want to compete in ascalon arenas, and get your 2 faction per kill, by all means pay 2k to run to droks, then pay another 7.5k for the armor.

I agree with the denial of Elites in the early arenas, and the armor restriction but the other suggestions don't seem to work too well.
Green/Gold items - Collector weapons upgraded with mods. Many times just as good.
Only skills from ascalon-yaks - because of the new patch, the skills may already be unlocked for the character. However, there still is some evidence that shows which skills belong in the regions between ascalon and yaks.
I suppose the skill restriction would work, but can get messy, as a lot of those skills are fairly..bad.

I have seen faggots who think they are good because they use drok armor in Ascalon Arena. Saw this one faggot warrior who said, you wanna 1v1 and get own??? back then, i was still a low level.
